Friendly staff, nice breakfast, rooms were very clean and modern amenities in the room as well. Lots of guest parking and it’s minutes away from PIR airport. Also very close to all the food places around the area.
Nice room and location. Bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. The evening front desk girl was polite and professional. She deserves recognition, I dont remember her name. Breakfast: Not well prepared. No sugar for coffee and the attendant didn't care at all about it. The attendant sat in a back room with another employee and talked instead of tending to the breakfast area When i did see her she came out and used a dirty bucket (that was sitting on a display table) to 'clean' the tables! Disgusting! The hotel was great. The breakfast server(s) need serious supervision. Or dismissal
We enjoy our annual trip to Ft. Pierre each year. We have stayed at the Holiday Inn the past couple of years, and the hospitality is always great, and everyone is friendly. De (manager) had always been a great help. It's probably the best hotel in the area.
Very clean, good breakfast, nice staff! Beds were very firm. This is right off the highway, so you could hear car/truck traffic and you could hear trains nearby but they didn’t seem to go during the middle of the night and having the A/C run helped with drowning out some sound! All in all, it was a good stay!
The first room had an odor and they switched me to another room. It was quiet, comfortable and seemed clean. The breakfast was decent. They didn't provide anything for my status which was disappointing. No goodies or water bottles. The hotel felt particularly expensive for what it offers in Pierre South Dakota but I guess limited options mean they can price how they like.
Front desk lady was so helpful and sweet. Rooms are super clean not one spot to question. Amazing beds super comfortable. Amazing bathroom, products in bathroom, and a huge amazing mirror. And good price. Highly highly recommend.
Great stay while there over Christmas break to visit family! Happy to report the pool was open amidst renovations. Hotel and gym closed, but that was fine with us. The pool was the perfect temp. My daughter gets hives from the cold and staying at a hotel with a warm pool is always our top priority. Breakfast was on point with bacon, sausage, cheesy eggs, and many more options every day! Was a nice, quiet, clean stay.
I would have dropped a star if I didnt stay here for work. The room looked nice but had a very strong mildew smell, also the elevator was broken but the lady at the desk told me you just had to push on the door hard to get it to move. Sounded sketchy so I took the stairs. Like I said, I wouldnt pay to stay here, but also wouldnt complain to my work for booking the room
